During the Los Angeles fires, Detoure mobilized our community and inventory to provide free clothing for locals who lost their homes and belongings.

After hearing how hard it can be to find cute secondhand pieces in plus sizes, we wanted to help change that. That’s why we carry sizes XXS–4XL and strive to work with creators of all sizes.

Detoure was founded in 2021 by Meghan Russell in Los Angeles after working in the fashion industry and seeing firsthand the impact of fast fashion and how quickly influencers’ closets filled with clothing that often went unworn.
What started as an idea in her bedroom (quickly overflowing with influencers’ clothing) grew into viral pop-ups, a passionate community, and a movement to make secondhand the first choice.
